“The first mile is mental. The rest are all heart.” -Summer Sanders
Hello, world! If you are one of those people who is feeling stuck in the mundane, then you are not alone. On my way to my running routine today, I felt the urge to finally move forward in the digital course as well. Realising that opportunities in life don’t always fall in our laps, I’m trying my shot at one thing that’s holding me back. I’ve always been hesitant to write a blog because like running, the stamina requirement is taxing. It entails a great amount of focus to sustain and hurdle the setbacks. But if one doesn’t start moving, then you’ll never know what awaits you right?
There are many things you learn from running that is far more intangible than losing the unwanted fats, the feat gives us joy. In the digital arena, one of the greatest joys the internet can give us is to connect and empower each other to keep on moving with our shared experiences. I am a staunch believer of all things healthy and good for the body. I’d like you join me in celebrating a healthy, body and mind as you read along. Of course, allow me to sprinkle it with some of my travel adventures and just the right amount of narcissism posts with my loved ones. I cannot promise you hardcore positivity all throughout my blogging journey but rest assured, this is something that will make you feel good, stay motivated after a busy day and getting the most out of life. And no, I’m not gonna post top ten favorite Deepak Chopra quotes or go live to teach you some yoga poses, well not yet. But feel free to drop by my blog if going to yoga class is not realistically possible. I will indulge you with some fitness alternatives as long as your yoga teacher will not call me and look for you.
And so I challenge you to do the same. Put an end to your procastination and stop putting it off tomorrow what you want to accomplish today. Cliche as it sounds, it is not in the destination but in the journey. It is in the steps you take and the growth that comes along with it. Ready? On your mark, get set, go!
